The lifespan of PP construction formwork is not only related to product quality but also affected by construction methods and maintenance management. Firstly, proper installation and reasonable support can reduce uneven stress on the formwork, lower the risk of deformation, and thus extend its service life.

Correct methods should be used when dismantling the formwork to avoid damage to the edges and corners caused by forceful removal. Cleaning concrete residue from the formwork surface promptly after each use to maintain a smooth surface also helps improve the quality of subsequent construction. The storage environment of the formwork is equally important. It should be placed in a flat, dry area, avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or proximity to high-temperature heat sources. Formwork made from high-quality PP raw materials and mature production processes generally has better aging resistance and can achieve a higher number of reuses. Therefore, product quality, construction specifications, and daily maintenance jointly determine the actual lifespan of PP construction formwork.
