Construction Bamboo Plywood, also known as bamboo glued board or construction bamboo template, is a high-strength artificial board made from high-quality moso bamboo, processed by slicing, steaming, preservation, drying, forming, and high-temperature, high-pressure phenolic resin pressing. It is divided into four major categories: plain bamboo plywood, film-covered bamboo plywood, bamboo mat-veined plywood, and full-thick bamboo reinforced plywood.
Construction Bamboo Plywood is formed by hot pressing multiple layers of bamboo mats and sheets. The tensile strength and bending resistance of bamboo fibers are far superior to those of wood adhesive boards made from poplar or eucalyptus. When used for casting large-span floor slabs and beams/columns, it is less prone to bending, warping, or mold deformation, which can appropriately reduce the amount of supporting timber and steel pipes, saving auxiliary material costs and lowering the risk of construction mold failure. It is also resistant to cracking and delamination even with repeated nailing and disassembly, making it a commonly used high-strength waterproof formwork material for building concrete casting, heavy-duty packaging, and ship/vehicle bottoms.

High strength & excellent load-bearing performance
Using high quality moso bamboo as the raw material, the bamboo fibers have strong toughness. The density of the board is much higher than wooden formwork. Construction Bamboo Plywood has outstanding bending, compression and impact resistance. It is not prone to bending and collapsing during high supporting formwork, large-span floor construction or bridge construction. The support spacing can be appropriately widened, reducing the material consumption of the scaffolding.
Waterproof & moisture-proof, without layering or expansion
Our Construction Bamboo Plywood is made by pressing phenolic waterproof glue. It has a low water absorption and expansion rate. In damp conditions such as basements, during rainy seasons in open areas, or in water reservoirs, it will not bulge, peel, or separate even after being soaked in water for a long time. It has excellent anti-insect and anti-mildew effects.
Smooth & flat surface, easy to remove the formwork
Our Construction Bamboo Plywood does not adhere to the concrete, no need to apply release agent during construction. The beams, columns and walls are smooth and flat after demolding and achieving good appearance of the concrete in its natural state. It significantly reduces the labor costs for later plastering and repair.
Excellent dimensional stability, less prone to deformation or leakage of concrete
Our Construction Bamboo Plywood are formed by interlacing bamboo curtains and bamboo mats, which counteract the one-way stress of the panels. The dry shrinkage and wet expansion range is small, reducing the probability of warping and arching during use. The panel joints have uniform gaps, effectively preventing mortar leakage during pouring.
